The show is directed by highly acclaimed director Zhang Yimou, known as the architect behind the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony and creator of other similar shows in Yangshuo and Lijiang. The show is high in color and spectacular visual effects and is held in an open air theater built specially for the event.
